China's Xi Hosts State Banquet for Trump's Visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday held a banquet at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to welcome US President Donald Trump on his state visit to China. #trump #worldnews #worldnews #politics #usa #asia

Xi signaled China is moving toward greater openness during his meeting with US business leaders.

Xi told the business representatives that "China's door to the outside world will only open wider" and that he believes US firms will have even broader prospects in China.

The American executives told Xi that they "highly value" the Chinese market and hope to further strengthen cooperation and cultivate their business presence there.
