Deadly Russian hypersonic missile strike hits Kyiv | World News Tonight

- Russia launched one of its largest air attacks against the Ukrainian capital overnight, using missiles and drones, including the Oreshnik missile system. The strike on Kyiv left at least four people dead and around 100 injured. The attack also involved hypersonic ballistic missiles and caused widespread damage across the city.

- The U.S. and Iran are close to reaching an agreement that could end the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, according to reports. President Donald Trump said “time is on our side” and urged his administration not to rush into a deal. He also said the agreement is largely negotiated, with final details still being worked out.

- Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is in China seeking to expand cooperation between the two countries. Beijing is currently Belgrade’s second-largest trading partner and supports Vučić on a range of international issues. But while the Serbian leader is abroad, a new wave of protests against his rule has swept across the country.
