Empowering the Next Generation to Shape the Future of American Science Policy

The Journal of Science Policy and Governance (JSPG) proudly produced this video in collaboration with AAAS and the Engaging Scientists and Engineers in Policy (ESEP) Coalition, around the joint Kavli Foundation-supported call for papers centered around the 75-year anniversary of Science: The Endless Frontier. This call for papers seeks to empower students, postdocs, policy fellows, young professionals, and early career researchers of all academic and professional backgrounds to shape the future of American science and science policy.

In this video, JSPG and AAAS highlight the hopes early career researchers have for the future of U.S. science policy, followed by interviews with AAAS CEO Sudip Parikh, National Academy of Sciences President Marcia McNutt, and former White House OSTP and NSF Director Neal Lane.
