Nirmala Sitharaman on Oil Prices, Global Crises & India’s Economic Challenges

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says, "As I said, the West Asia crisis, Strait of Hormuz crisis, Russia-Ukraine war crisis, Iran-Israel-US war crisis, the supply chain disruption crisis, the increasing fuel price, fertiliser price... these are going to be challenges but I'm confident, and I'm saying this with responsibility, I'm confident with the guidance of the prime minister, we will be able to handle those challenges which are not of our making. If crude oil prices are growing, one week, it is 83, another week, 86, 100 or 116, we will have to constantly monitor this, but make sure that people are not going to suffer."
