South and Southeast Asian leaders to gather in Bangkok for BIMSTEC trade, security summit

South and Southeast Asian leaders are in Thailand this week for a trade and security summit, with US tariffs and the Myanmar earthquake likely to top the agenda. This is the first BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) summit to be held in person since 2018. Scheduled bilateral talks include a meeting between the prime ministers of India and Thailand. Rebecca Bundhun reports.
