গ্রামগঞ্জে লোডশেডিংয়ে অতিষ্ঠ সাধারণ মানুষ। বেশ কিছু জেলায় বিদ্যুতের নিত্য আসা-যাওয়ায় ব্যাহত হচ্ছে স্বাভাবিক জনজীবন। ভুক্তভোগীরা বলছেন, দিনের কাজ-রাতের ঘুম,শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্যও ব্যাহত হচ্ছে লোডশেডিংয়ে। যদিও বিদ্যুৎ উন্নয়ন বোর্ড, পিডিবি বলছে- চাহিদা ও উৎপাদনের মধ্যে পার্থক্য নেই। তাই সামনের দিনগুলোতে লোডশেডিংয়ের আশঙ্কা করছেন না পিডিবি চেয়ারম্যান। তবে বিতরণ লাইন ও কারিগরি ত্রুটির কারণে কোথাও কোথাও সংকট হচ্ছে বলে স্বীকার করেন তিনি।

ঘন ঘন লোডশেডিং বন্ধ করাসহ ৭ দফা দাবিতে বরগুনায় বিদ্যুৎ অফিস ঘেরাও কর্মসূচি পালিত হয়েছে।

ঢাকা ও আশেপাশের জেলাসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে দিন-দিন বাড়ছে গ্যাসের সংকট। চাপ কমে যাওয়ায় সিএনজি পরিবহন, শিল্প-কারখানা ও আবাসিক গ্রাহকদের পোহাতে হচ্ছে ভোগান্তি।

Ordinary people in rural areas are exasperated by load-shedding. Frequent power outages across several districts are disrupting daily life; affected residents report that everything from daytime chores and nighttime sleep to students' studies and business operations is being hampered. Although the Power Development Board (PDB) maintains that there is no gap between electricity demand and generation—leading the PDB Chairman to rule out the likelihood of load-shedding in the near future—he did acknowledge that localized crises are occurring due to distribution line issues and technical faults.

A protest involving the siege of the electricity office was held in Barguna to press for a seven-point list of demands, including an end to frequent load-shedding.

A gas crisis is intensifying across various parts of the country, including Dhaka and its neighboring districts. Reduced gas pressure is causing significant inconvenience for CNG-run transport, industrial factories, and residential consumers alike.
