JD Vance was likely the last foreign dignitary to meet with Pope Francis, as the pair met at the Vatican on Easter Sunday hours before the pontiff’s death, ABC News' Rachel Scott reports. “My heart goes out to the millions of Christians all over the world who loved him. I was happy to see him yesterday, though he was obviously very ill,” Vance wrote early Monday on social media.
