Iran has blamed Israel for preventing the establishment of a nuclear weapons-free zone in West Asia. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the remarks during a meeting with his Italian counterpart in Rome, accusing Israel of “Iranophobia” and atrocities in Gaza. The comments came just ahead of indirect Iran-U.S. nuclear talks, mediated by Oman.
