Donald Trump has promised that his many lawyers will be "watching the sanctity of the 2024 Presidential Election very closely".

One place where his lawyers worked overtime after the last election was Georgia, where a criminal trial is pending that could land the former president in jail over allegations he tried to overturn the result.

So it's not surprising that Democrats, voter rights groups and even high-profile Republicans have condemned changes to the state's election rules, which they fear could sow chaos and mistrust.
