‘Something to be nervous about’: IMF warning signals ‘fragile’ global economy

Independent Economist John Simon details how the International Monetary Fund has issued a recession warning concerning the global economy.

“I think we’re not looking at a shock of nature of the OPEC oil crisis, but we are still looking at something where the economy is very fragile,” Mr Simon told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.

“It could certainly go badly … but certainly it’s just one thing after another with the global economy, and that’s something to be nervous about.”
