Supreme Court Signals It’s Likely to Uphold TikTok Ban

Supreme Court justices signaled they may uphold a law banning TikTok in the US if it's not sold by its Chinese parent company by Jan. 19. Justices suggested national security concerns outweigh free speech interests, focusing on ByteDance's ties to China's Communist government. A ban would impact TikTok's 170 million US users, and technology companies hosting/distributing the app could face massive fines.
